Surrender Project

In Surrender Project, I lie down in different environments, including a warehouse, abandoned places, and historical buildings in Taiwan. The concept of "Using posture to surrender to the status quo of the environment and intervene, stop, or sometimes destroy a reality is part of human nature" has gone through the whole work. The posture symbolises a body incapable of balancing and unable to react, attack, or escape immediately. The action represents the fragile and vulnerable condition which leads the question to the existence of hierarchy, historical self-identity, and the link between physical and mental pain.
